Testimonials

"The quality of the attending members and guests in camp made the week. All seemed to do whatever they could to ensure that others were having a great camp experience. The cool overnights and the use of the floor heaters provided for fantastic sleeping. The bass were huge, averaging 17-22", the waterways and bays void of others. I'll be back next year."

"If you described a week’s vacation to someone and told them you spent one day without power and it rained more than half the time, they would conclude your vacation was spoiled. But for the Hasely/Martone group it was another great week in Georgian Bay. That is the power of the Pennsylvania Club."

"Thank you so much for your hospitality and the hospitality of your club. You have a great group of folks dedicated to continuing an outdoor tradition and we need more of that in our world.

You asked me for a fishing summary, so here goes. First, I appreciated the daily schedule of Breakfast-Fish-Lunch-Fish-Happy Hour-Dinner-Fish-Drink-Sleep. Repeat. Simple, and easy to remember!

But more important than the fishing, we appreciated the fellowship and camaraderie of those present. The food was fantastic."

"...agree that it's much more than just the fishing. It's also about the friendships and memories that are created. We were at first apprehensive about attending couples week, for we didn't know any of the couples attending and had no idea as to what to expect. But after arriving, our fears were short-lived. All of the couples were awesome and we had a wonderful time. We made many new friendships and we, too, agree that the quality of the membership, families, and guests is what makes the PA Club such an awesome place to visit."

"I am always amazed by the members I meet and come across. Also, I am so thankful that they are a part of the club and have a place in thier hearts for what a special place it is. And it's not just the big items that get done that mean a lot. It's also the people that see a small piece of trash laying around and have the sense of mind to pick it up and throw it in the trash. So, I would like to thank you all for making the PA Club one of the greatest and little known (hope to keep it that way) places to visit on this great mother Earth. I'm sure God knew what we would like and provided that beautiful island for us to enjoy. "

"I'd also like to mention about the beauty and wildlife of the Georgian Bay. My wife loves this place so much and says it's in her blood. Come rain or shine, she and I go out not only for the fishing, but for the peace and serenity that can only be found here. The wildlife, such as the bears, loons, moose, beavers, etc. and the breathtaking scenery, sunsets and such are always a plus. To us, this is truly a paradise and has to be as close as you can get to heaven."

"The people who come are what make it special. To have guys come all the way from Germany, year after year, is evidence of that."

"On a personal note, this week marked my 52nd week at the Pennsylvania Club. One year of my life has been spent in this beautiful facility. I have been truly blessed to be a part of this group. We never know when we've made our "last cast", but if I've made mine, it was a year well spent. Thanks to all that made it possible starting with past member Ernie Gray. Thanks for that first invitation so many years ago."

In summing up my sixty year experience, it's a ride that cannot be comprehended by most. It makes me know that I am one extremely fortunate individual... Those who have experienced one year or many know what it's like to spend time with friends and family in this most awesome place. The anticipation of my next trip to the Club is always present regardless of the situation.
