Pennsylvania Club - Founded 1896

2010 Calendar

Reservations are being accepted again on a first-come, first-served basis for any remaining openings.

Please read the reservation rules at the bottom of the page. Then fill in the online reservation request form and submit that. It should end up in Phil's email box.

To view who is attending work week or a men's camp, click on the link for that week and you'll see a list of those who are signed up. Check back often as the rosters change frequently.

If you choose the full service option (the camp supplies the cook and food), you may view your meal choices here (PDF file). You can print out the form (6 pages), fill in your choices and mail it to John. As an alternative, you can download the same form in Word format, again fill in your choices and then email the Word document to John as an attachment. Either way, be sure to get your choices to him in a timely manner.

The PA Club board encourages members making private reservations to consider utilizing our "full service" meal option. The board also encourages parties wishing to rent only one of our two cottages, to consider making plans to eat their meals together with the party in the other cabin, again utilizing the full service option. Please note that this is only a suggestion and members are certainly free to bring their own food and to cook their own meals.

An *asterisk* indicates those groups that have chosen to use the cook's services.

Reservation Rules:

1. Send in one application for each week desired (i.e., if you plan on coming in July and again in September, please send two applications, one for each week desired).
2. Only members can send in an application.
3. Fill in the application completely - if you have email, PLEASE include it. It makes communication easier and faster should there be changes or problems.
4. Please apply only for you and your "personal group" of people.
5. Do NOT send any money with the application. Once the Board has assigned weeks, you will receive an invoice for the deposit amount ($100 per men's camp reservation and $500 per private cottage reservation).
6. Please be as flexible as possible with your desired and optional week(s). The Board will attempt to get every member their first choice, but reserves the right to ask people to look at secondary choices. Members making reservations will be contacted (preferably by email) before they are assigned a secondary choice (note: no lotteries will be held until all secondary selections have been exhausted). If sufficient reservations are not made to fill all four weeks of men's camps and the Club receives an abundance of private reservations, the Board may look at turning a men's camp week into a private reservation week.
7. DEPOSITS: Members will be billed for their deposit by the Club Treasurer. For Men's Camps, a member must have their deposit and the deposit and full name for each guest they are bringing, to the Club Treasurer by the due date shown on their invoice. If the required deposit is not received by the due date, the Club will begin the search for someone to take those spots. For full/family camp, a deposit of $500 for EACH cottage (i.e., if you have reserved the entire camp, the deposit is $1,000) is also due no later than the date shown on your invoice. If the required deposit is not received by the due date, the Club will begin the search for another family/group to take the cottages.
8. Prime weeks are highlighted in green. You must guarantee 112 camp nights in order to reserve the entire camp during these weeks. If you are submitting a choice for one of the "prime weeks" (10 & 12-17), you are asked to supply a first, second and third choice of weeks during that time. If you are requesting a week that is not a prime week, you are still encouraged to supply three choices, though it is not mandatory.

Membership Meetings:

There are two meetings per year of the PA Club. The spring meeting is the 3rd Friday of April, except when the third Friday of April is Good Friday. When that occurs, the spring meeting of the PA Club will be the 4th Friday of April. The fall meeting of the PA Club will always be the 3rd Friday of October.

Remember: attendance at a meeting reduces the annual dues from $300 to $50 for the next two years.
